Gap introduces a new line of hats called the 'Wicked' assortment
In a fusion of fashion and film, Gap and Universal Pictures have teamed up to release a 20-piece collection inspired by the much-anticipated movie adaptation of "Wicked". The collection, which became available on Monday, features a wide array of items for both children and adults.
The collection's colour palette is central to the movie's theme, with green, pink, and black dominating the designs. These colours represent the lead characters, Elphaba and Glinda, played by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande respectively.
The collection includes a variety of items such as socks, headbands, beanies, graphic tees, sweaters, and hoodies. The hoodies, in particular, have a unique twist - Gap's logo with the "A" replaced with either Elphaba's or Glinda's silhouette.
Universal Pictures has also collaborated with multiple brands on "Wicked" merchandise this year. Brands like Forever 21, H&M, Crocs, Aldo, Stanley Cup, Betty Crocker, and Mattel have all joined forces to create a range of products that cater to various tastes and preferences.
