Bus Bandits Strike Again in Dortmund

The incident occurred around 11:20 pm on June 21, just as the 46-year-old driver from Gelsenkirchen was enjoying some downtime before his next shift. The weather was pleasantly warm, and he had the doors wide open. Little did he know that his relaxing moment was about to turn sour.
Suddenly, four young men boarded his bus, acting like they owned the place. They shoved the unsuspecting driver back into his seat and started giving him a hard time. One of the adversaries took the opportunity to swipe the driver's wallet. With their ill-gotten gains in hand, the quartet made a swift exit, heading towards Dietrich-Keuning-Park. They made off with a three-digit sum and left the wallet behind 500 meters away at Leopoldstraße subway station. A good Samaritan eventually found it.
When recounting the episode, the driver described the suspects as being around 15 to 16 years old at the time. Standing at 1.80 meters tall, they were slim with an affinity for dark colors. Cameras placed around the area corroborated this description, giving the authorities a clearer picture of their quarry.
