Galgotias University achieves ₹60 lakh top package amid record placements
Galgotias University has once again demonstrated its strength in student placements despite a challenging job market. The institution secured top job offers, with the highest package reaching ₹60 lakh per annum. Its focus on industry partnerships and global academic collaborations has further boosted employability and learning outcomes.
This year, leading companies actively recruited from Galgotias University. Infosys hired 526 students, while Capgemini took on 228. Cognizant and Larsen & Toubro Mindtree also made significant hires, with 205 and 119 placements respectively. Many graduates received specialised job offers, with salaries ranging between ₹15 lakh and ₹26.6 lakh per annum.
The university's global standing has also improved. In the QS World University Rankings 2026, it placed in the 1201-1400 band. Meanwhile, the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025 positioned it 45th among Indian universities and within the 1001-1200 global bracket.
A key factor in its success has been the partnership with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. This collaboration introduced NTU's flipped classroom and active learning methods to Galgotias. Between 2022 and 2024, 150 faculty members underwent joint training, while a digital learning platform was co-developed using NTU's edtech tools. Three interdisciplinary projects in engineering and business were also piloted at the Greater Noida campus.
Beyond placements, the university has expanded its industry ties. Multiple centres of excellence, created with corporate partners, now operate on campus. Entrepreneurship and startup initiatives further encourage innovation among students.
Galgotias University's placement record remains robust, with top recruiters securing hundreds of graduates. Its global rankings and academic collaborations continue to enhance learning and career prospects. The institution's focus on industry-aligned education and innovation ensures students transition smoothly from classrooms to professional roles.
