Galaxy Macau's Chinese New Year celebrations drew huge crowds with a news-worthy festive programme. Over 18,000 guests gathered to enjoy performances, humour, and cultural surprises. The resort's campaign, Start the Year Lucky at Galaxy Macau, reinforced Macau's reputation as a top destination for tourism and leisure.

The festivities kicked off with Kong Chiho warming up the audience using sharp Cantonese humour. Jimmy then took the stage, delivering rapid-fire jokes and wishing everyone a lucky Chinese New Year. His performance included a lively lion and dragon dance, where he surprised guests by emerging from a golden lion costume.

Jimmy's father, Richard O. Yang, joined the fun as the God of Fortune, spreading joy among the crowd. The comedian also shared playful exchanges with pop stars Tyson Yoshi, Wan Kwong, and Jackson Wang, keeping the audience laughing throughout.

Across the entire 2024 Chinese New Year period, Galaxy Macau welcomed around 1.2 million visitors to its resort areas, including the Galaxy Arena. The event showcased world-class entertainment, blending tradition with modern spectacle.
