Swapping Savannah Style for Charity: Sonja Zietlow's Anniversary Auction
Get ready to bid on some wild fashion! TV host Sonja Zietlow, 56, has kicked off her traditional charity auction, this time featuring items from her African adventures during the filming of the Dschungelcamp series. Up for grabs are eight stylish pieces and accessories from Zietlow's jungle camp wardrobe, available for bids via the United Charity portal.
These trendy goodies, including Zietlow's fashion picks from her treehouse stint or daring jungle challenges on "Ich bin ein Star - Showdown der Dschungel-Legenden", are destined to benefit the bond between children and their therapy dogs, thanks to her organization, "Beschützerinstinkte e.V." The bids are already rolling in, ranging from 80 to 370 euros, with the auction closing on September 11th.
A Tradition That Spans the Decades
Since 2012, Sonja Zietlow has organized her yearly charity auction, with proceeds consistently reaching substantial sums. Last January, an item from fellow host Jan Köppen's (41), his iconic zebra shirt, even made a special appearance at the auction.
I can't deny that the urge to bid on Sonja's fashion pieces is strong, given the heartwarming cause she supports. Yet, Zietlow has promised that she won't be bidding on any items herself, ensuring the funds go directly to where they're needed.
