Fugitive 29-year-old Escapes from Federal Law Enforcement in BPoli MD
On August 20, 2025, an unidentified Afghan national caused a stir at the main station in Halle (Saale) when he refused to leave an Intercity Express train. The incident, which was originally reported by the Federal Police Inspectorate Magdeburg, led to a series of chaotic events that involved the individual attacking railway staff, police officers, and ultimately his arrest.
The drama unfolded when the individual, after seeing the police, fled across the tracks and into the Intercity Express. He was apprehended on platform two. During the removal, he resisted the police measure, kicking towards two deployed officers. In the process, he lost a knife, which was secured by the officers.
Before his arrest, the individual also attempted to strike railway staff and insulted them. His actions led to the disruption of train service, causing delays and inconvenience to passengers.
The Federal Police Station Halle (Saale) was notified to establish the individual's identity. The suspect will face charges for violating the Criminal Code, the Weapons Act, and the Railway Construction and Operating Regulations.
