In a surprising turn of events, Florida State University has dismissed safety Conrad Hussey from its football team, following a physical altercation with an assistant coach during practice.

Despite the setback, Norvell has allowed the new coordinators to make their own mark at Florida State, with Tony White, who spent the past two years at Nebraska, taking over as defensive coordinator.
