FSG Kempten’s air pistol team finishes fifth in 1. Bundesliga-Süd

FSG Kempten’s air pistol team concluded their 1. Bundesliga-Süd season in fifth position. The squad, mentored by Hans Müller, narrowly missed out on a top-four final despite a robust performance throughout the campaign.

Under Müller’s tutelage, the marksmen demonstrated they could vie with the league’s elite. Their displays kept them in contention until the closing stages, though they ultimately fell short of securing a spot in the deciding round.

Team captain Julia Thannheimer acknowledged the frustration of the result. Nevertheless, she also praised the team’s tenacity and competitive spirit throughout the season.

The fifth-place finish signifies a commendable effort from FSG Kempten’s air pistol unit. Although they didn’t clinch a final berth, their capability to compete at a high level lays a foundation for forthcoming seasons. Thannheimer’s pride in the team’s performance underscores their progress and resolve.
