Freshly appointed trainers for East Holstein sports organizations

In Ostholstein, a group of 20 dedicated individuals have recently been awarded their licenses as officially recognized sports trainers. These trainers, hailing from various local sports clubs, have successfully completed a rigorous training and certification program, designed to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to coach athletes effectively and safely.

Among the newly licensed trainers is Alicia Sophie Benn, a member of Schwartauer Schützen. Alicia, who joined Schwartauer Schützen at the end of 2022, showcased her competence by designing and implementing a varied warm-up session as part of her training. She has also been appointed as the deputy youth leader at Schwartauer Schützen since 2023 and aims to revitalize the youth activities with her new training and acquired license.

The training program, organized and conducted by the Ostholstein County Sports Association (KSV), consisted of three stages from January to May. The course covered a wide range of topics, from sports pedagogy and training methods to injury prevention and athlete development. The KSV expresses its gratitude to the police directorate for providing valuable support, particularly for the education and training on the Eutiner Hubertushöhe, which offered sports facilities and classrooms.

Interestingly, the course was not only attended by long-standing members of the sports community. Santana Kordiukova, a new member of Polizei-Sportverein Eutin, recently arrived from Ukraine. Santana, who brought a translator to the exam day to demonstrate her commitment and integration efforts, is among the newly licensed candidates.

Remarkably, the participants and their clubs did not bear any financial burden, as the KSV fully funded the training. This generous support has allowed these individuals to further their qualifications and contribute positively to the local sports infrastructure.

The collective achievement of these trainers strengthens the sports community in Ostholstein, ensuring higher standards of coaching and support for athletes across the region. As Alicia Sophie Benn and her fellow newly licensed trainers embark on their coaching journeys, they do so with a shared commitment to enhancing sports education and training in Ostholstein.

Alicia Sophie Benn, who joined the Schwartauer Schützen in late 2022, is not only a member of the football club but also one of the newly licensed sports trainers in Ostholstein. Demonstrating her passion for the sport, Alicia showcased her competence by designing and implementing a varied warm-up session for football as part of her training.
