Fresh Week Kicks Off in Kuban with Temperature at 38 Degrees Underworld-Like Heat

Brace yourselves, Kuban dwellers, as the mercury is set to soar on Monday, June 9! According to the Krasnodar Hydrometeorological Center, we're in for a sweltering spell, thanks to an anticyclone bringing blazing sunshine with no rainfall in sight.

In Krasnodar city, expect occasional cloud cover, with temperatures peaking at around +33 to 35 °C. Wind speeds will oscillate between 3 to 8 meters per second.

Prepare for temperatures hovering between +30 to 35 °C across the region, with locations in the northern parts of Kuban potentially reaching up to +38 °C. The regions with the highest temperature readings will be Kushchevskaya and Krylovskaya districts. Temperatures in mountainous areas will climb to +23 °C, while along the Black Sea coast, wind gusts could reach up to 14 meters per second. The sea water temperature will fall between +27 to 32 °C.

Tuesday, June 10, is forecasted to bring brief showers and thunderstorms to some areas, although they are not expected to have a significant impact on the overall temperature. The region should expect temperatures to remain between +30 to 35 °C, with Krasnodar city approaching +32 °C.

Earlier, meteorologists had highlighted the hottest weather recorded in 56 years in Anapa[2].
