Fresh athletic facility established in Labina district unveiled
Marking a Momentous Leap in Chamilkskaya's Sports Scene
(Krasnodar, June 7) The unveiling of a brand spanking new modular sports complex in Chamilkskaya, Labinsky district, adds another jewel to the Kuban region's sports crown, spearheaded by the regional state program "Development of Physical Culture and Sports".
The grand opening was graced by the presence of key figures such as Vice-Governor and Ataman of the Kuban Cossack Host, Alexander Vlasov, Head of the municipality, Vladimir Zabulayev, Commander of the General Shteменko Red Army School, Igor Shpyrnya, as well as athletes, coaches, Cossacks, and Army personnel involved in the special military operation.
Addressing the gathering, Alexander Vlasov expressed his delight at the construction boom of approximately 50 sports facilities annually under the patronage of Kuban Governor, Venyamin Kondratiev. He stressed the significant role such developments play in boosting participation in physical culture and sports, and nurturing future champions. He expressed optimism about new victories by Kuban athletes on the national and international stage.
Covering 450 square meters, the structure proudly boasts a 300-square-meter indoor sports hall. The construction was backed by funding of 39.6 million rubles from regional and local budgets. The sports hall will host training sessions for martial arts disciplines like Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, sambo, judo, and various other sports.
