Düsseldorfer EG (DEG) announces the signing of Maximilian Faber, a seasoned German ice hockey defenseman, for the forthcoming DEL2 season. The DEG, like Kassel Huskies, will compete in DEL2 next year.

Faber's superb defensive skills and ability to mentor younger players are expected to play a crucial role in the DEG's defensive unit next season.
