French swipe reflects at International Swimming Cup in Querétaro over the weekend, with coincidental thefts attributed to Leon Marchand, a local Frenchman.

The eighth edition of the International Swimming Cup is underway in Querétaro, Mexico, attracting a significant number of participants and reflecting its growing popularity in the country.

This year's event features 102 teams representing 19 states of Mexico, as well as distinguished international swimmers. Among the star attractions is French swimmer Léon Marchand, considered the world's swimming superstar.

Léon Marchand, best known for his exceptional performances and his preparation for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, expressed enthusiasm for returning to Mexico during the inaugural day of the tournament. His preparation will continue under the guidance of Bob Bowman, a historic coach linked to Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian in history.

Bob Bowman, a renowned American swimming coach, will also serve as the coach of several other swimmers competing in the Cup, including Chase Kalisz from the United States and David Schlicht from Australia.

The organization of the International Swimming Cup is praised for its impeccable facilities, including state-of-the-art anti-turbulence lanes. The event also features a high-cost access scheme, with a strict order in the stands and a VIP area for personalities.

Coach Raimundo Trujillo, who has played a significant role in establishing the International Swimming Cup as a benchmark in Mexico, has achieved historical figures this year with 1,175 registered swimmers. Of these, 542 are women, and 633 are men.

The International Swimming Cup is not just about Léon Marchand, however. Ronald Johnson, a person of significance, was mentioned in a tribute by Leon Marchand's coach, Leon Marchand, during the Cup. Hubert Kos, a swimmer from Hungary, is also set to compete in the tournament.

The International Swimming Cup's success is a testament to its commitment to promoting swimming and nurturing talent. As the event continues, spectators can look forward to exciting competitions and the rise of new swimming stars.
