Freiburg's Public Transport Disrupted Oct 10: Expect Delays, Detours
Freiburg's public transport is facing disruptions on Friday, October 10, due to overhead line damage on Berliner Allee. Between 10 am and 3 pm, replacement bus services and altered routes will be in operation for several tram and bus lines.
Tram line 4 is suspended between Rathaus in Stühlinger and Messe, with replacement buses running between Bissierstraße and Messe. Bus lines 10, 22, and 36 are also affected, operating on detours including Bissierstraße, Idingerstraße, Elsässer Straße, and other altered stops as specified for each line.
Repairs are expected to continue until Saturday, causing increased traffic congestion at the Berliner Allee/Breisacher Straße intersection during peak hours. Special vehicles will be in use at these times.
Freiburg's public transport users are advised to check timetables and plan their journeys accordingly for Friday, October 10. The disruptions are expected to last until Saturday as repairs continue.
