Issue 2026 postponed to 2027 - Freiburg's Heroes Festival delayed to 2027 with ticket perks
The Heroes Festival in Freiburg has been postponed until 2027. Originally planned for September 4–5, 2026, the main event now faces a year-long delay. Organisers cited production-related challenges as the reason for the change.
The festival will now take place on September 10–11, 2027. Tickets already bought will stay valid for the new dates. Those unable to attend can request a refund, with details to be shared via email and official channels.
As compensation, ticket holders who keep their passes will also get free entry to the Heroes Festival in Geiselwind in June 2026. The event, which started in Geiselwind in 2017, has since grown to include Freiburg, Hannover, and the Allgäu region.
The Heroes Festival is best known for showcasing German rap and hip-hop. Since its launch, it has become a key event for fans of the genre across the country.
The delay pushes the Freiburg main event to its new slot in 2027. Refunds and additional perks for ticket holders will be handled through official communications. Organisers aim to ensure a smooth transition for attendees affected by the change.
