Markus Krösche, Frankfurt's sports director, commented on Koch's long-term commitment: "We've managed to secure a top-notch talent in the long run, which sends a powerful message."

The Champions League participant found itself in the crosshairs of runners-up Bayer Leverkusen, but Koch ultimately opted to stay put in Frankfurt after rigorous negotiations. Koch's journey to Frankfurt began in 2023 with a loan spell from Leeds United, where he's since played 85 competitive matches. "We've accomplished something remarkable, and on top of that, he's reclaimed his spot on the German national team. Frankfurt is his natural habitat, and he's an essential asset for us. For our youthful team's development, it's crucial Robin remains," affirmed Krösche.

As Frankfurt's German star, Koch most recently graced the international stage, taking part in both the Nations League semi-final against Portugal (1:2) and the third-place match against France (0:2). Post-break, he's eager to revive his Champions League exploits with Eintracht.

"Playing in the Champions League once more is a unique opportunity for the club, the city, and myself. I want us to maintain our impressive form and play a key role in all tournaments in the forthcoming years," stated Koch.
