Frankfurt Radio Symphony to play in Vietnam
The Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra (hr-Sinfonieorchester) will be performing in Vietnam as part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Vietnam - Germany diplomatic relations. The concerts, co-sponsored by our website Government and the state of Hesse, will take place in early October 2023.
The first concert will be held at the Hò Gươm Opera House in Hà Nội on October 2, followed by the second concert at the Saigon Opera House in HCM City on October 4.
The Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1929, is one of Germany's first radio symphony orchestras and has a prominent position in Europe's symphonic scene, earning an outstanding global reputation. Alain Altinoglu, who took over as the current chief conductor starting with the 2021/2022 season, will lead the performances in Vietnam.
