Equestrian star Isabell Werth fell just short of victory at the opening act of the Frankfurt Festhalle horse show. The 54-year-old from Rheinberg managed an impressive 73.217% on her mount Super B in the Grand Prix, but it was Katharina Hemmer from Borchen who clinched the top spot with a score of 73.826% on Denoix. Hemmer, a 29-year-old rider, recently impressed with a third-place finish in the Grand Prix Special at Stuttgart's tournament.

Completing the podium was Münster's Ingrid Klimke with First Class, who achieved a score of 70.826%. The Frankfurt show, celebrating its 50th edition, will showcase some of the best equestrian talent in the world. Alongside the Grand Prix Special and the freestyle events, this prestigious tournament will attract international competitors, promising an exhilarating display of horsemanship.
