Frank Zander, the veteran musician, is set to resume his annual Christmas tradition of hosting a party for the homeless at Berlin's Estrel Hotel. However, his attendance is uncertain as he's currently hospitalized. According to his son, Marcus, Frank had been feeling drained and weak for days before his condition worsened, necessitating an ambulance call.

Marcus informed the German Press Agency that Frank's doctors are working tirelessly to help him recover in time for the December 22 event. While Frank expressed disappointment at the prospect of missing his own party, he maintained optimism and wished for a speedy recovery.

This year's Christmas celebration, though smaller than usual, will host around 1600 to 1700 guests, a significant decrease from the 3000 attendees from previous years. Despite the size reduction, Frank Zander's initiative has inspired similar events in various other cities, showcasing the spirit of giving and support to the homeless community.

The Christmas party will welcome over 130 helpers and around 60 celebrities, including the governing mayor, Kai Wegner (CDU), who believes this event offers an excellent opportunity for celebrating community positivity. Helpers will offer free haircuts, while veterinarians will take care of guests' animals, ensuring everyone feels cared for.

If Frank Zander is unable to attend, his family and volunteers will make every effort to ensure he is in their thoughts during the festivities. The importance of giving back to the homeless community remains at the forefront of Frank Zander's mission, making this a family-centric celebration for all involved.
