France claims FIFA's top spot as Spain and Argentina slip behind

The latest FIFA world rankings have seen major shifts at the top. France has climbed to first place, pushing Spain down to second. Meanwhile, Brazil and Portugal have swapped positions, with Portugal now ahead in the standings.

France's rise to the top spot marks a significant change. The team now leads with 2094.89 points, overtaking Spain, which falls to second with 2057.58 points. Argentina, previously in second, has dropped to third.

Portugal's climb has been notable. With 1,763.83 points, they have overtaken Brazil, pushing the South American side down to sixth. Brazil now sits on 1,761.16 points, a drop from their earlier ranking. Further down the table, positions remain stable for some teams. The Netherlands hold seventh place, while Morocco stays in eighth. Belgium remains ninth, and Germany keeps its tenth position with 1730.37 points.

The updated rankings reflect France's strong performance, securing the top position for the first time in this cycle. Spain and Argentina now follow behind, while Portugal's gain comes at Brazil's expense. The lower ranks show little movement, with teams like Germany and Belgium maintaining their spots.
