Rob Gronkowski Joins Fox Studio for Prime Time Role

Rob Gronkowski, the legendary tight end known for his electrifying performances on the field, is set to grace our screens once again, this time as a regular studio analyst for Fox starting from the 2025 season.

Gronkowski spent the first nine seasons of his illustrious career with the New England Patriots, where he won three Super Bowls alongside quarterback Tom Brady. Their partnership is the stuff of legends, and they added another world title to their collection in 2021. Brady, worth $375 million, will also be part of the Fox announcer crew for the 2025 season.

Gronkowski's new role will see him working alongside some of the biggest names in sports broadcasting, including Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, and host Curt Menefee.

Gronkowski's career with the Patriots was not without its challenges. His pre-draft interview with head coach Bill Belichick was considered one of the worst visits of all time. Belichick admitted that Gronkowski didn't make a very good impression during this meeting. The exact details of this encounter are not widely documented, but Gronkowski shared his version of the story on Jason Tartick's Trading Secrets podcast.

Just five minutes after being drafted by the Patriots in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft, Gronkowski found himself in trouble. It was revealed that he had fallen asleep during a team meeting due to being hungover. This incident left Gronkowski unsure if the Patriots would draft him or cross him off their list.

Despite these early setbacks, Gronkowski went on to have a remarkable career. He holds NFL records for most total touchdowns in a season by a tight end (18) and most receiving touchdowns in a season by a tight end (17). Gronkowski also boasts four All-Pro selections, five Pro Bowls, and the 2014 NFL Comeback Player of the Year award on his resume.

Gronkowski retired in 2022 and has been working as a studio analyst ever since. His new role at Fox promises to bring his unique perspective and infectious energy to NFL Sunday screens more than anytime since his starring role on the field.
