Injury-plagued Foxes Get Reinforcement - Fox Berlin sign Nejc Cehte to bolster injury-hit Champions League squad

Reigning handball champions Fox Berlin have strengthened their squad with the signing of Nejc Cehte. The left-handed backcourt player arrives from RK Eurofarm Pelister and will provide immediate support to an injury-hit team. His experience in both the Bundesliga and Champions League makes him a valuable addition.

Cehte previously played in Germany for Hannover between 2018 and 2022. His return to the Bundesliga comes as Fox Berlin seek cover for Fabian Wiede, who is sidelined for the season with a torn ACL. The club has confirmed his availability for domestic matches but noted restrictions in Europe.

Cehte’s signing bolsters Fox Berlin’s options in a critical phase of the season. His left-handed play and Champions League background will add depth to the team’s campaign. The club now awaits his first appearance, with a potential debut against Rhein-Neckar Löwen this weekend.
