Get ready, metalheads! On the scorching summer night of June 21, 2025, you're invited to the metal madness known as "Metal For Mercy - On Stage" at Werk°Stadt, Witten. This is a joint event by Metal For Mercy e.V. and Werk°Stadt, and it's going to be a skull-crushing night filled with raw power from four breathtaking bands.
First up is the newcomer to the Death Metal underground, "Oppression Denied." These vicious lads from Dortmund, commanded by guitar masters Ivar and Roman, drummer Jan, and bassist/vocalist Philip, aren't breaking new ground, but they're damn sure walking the genre's well-trodden paths with a vengeance.
Second on the bill is "Krud," a grizzly, lumbering metal behemoth from Schwelm. With their filthy, grinding metal that'll rattle your jawbones like a faulty motor, they stand tall in the Groove Metal realm.
Third, we have the sci-fi metalheads "Taskforce Toxicator" from Münster. Think of them as the Starship Troopers of Thrash Metal, having embarked upon a wild odyssey to spin tales of intergalactic absurdity on their debut LP, "Laser Samurai." After mastering the EP realm, these tenacious pros are finally ready to slay with ten new, powerful tracks that showcase their musical maturity.
Last but certainly not least are "Anger," the thunderous three-piece from Dortmund. Combining the raw fury of Thrash Metal with the swagger of Rock 'n' Roll, these dudes tackle life's complexities, roadblocks, and the ironies of everyday situations with a ferocity that sets them apart from the mainstream.
