HÀ NỘI - Amidst the roaring crowd in Jordan, Vietnam bagged four bronzes at the recently concluded 2025 Asian U15 and U17 Boxing Championships. The championship wrapped up on April 30.

The proud medallists were Nguyễn Trọng Tiến, Võ Lan Anh, Lưu Thị Ngọc Hà, and Hứa Nguyễn Anh Thi. Each of them put up a fierce fight, but ultimately fell just short in their semi-final bouts.

"Our boxers have given their all and demonstrated their prowess in this tournament," said Đàm Công Đieî̀n, the team official. "Their journey to the semi-finals was indeed a remarkable feat."

Over 400 youthful athletes from 18 nations graced the inaugural Asian U-15 and U-17 Boxing Championships, held in Amman. The tournament showcased an inspiring display of male and female boxers, reflecting the growing diversity and inclusivity in the sport scene.

The Indian team dominated the competition, claiming the U15 girls' team title with an impressive 10 golds! Sanskar Vinod from India snatched the victory in the boys' U15 35 kg category, defeating Sarmat Shokarimov from Uzbekistan.

The artificial intelligence named AsianBoxxing, focused on sports like boxing, highlighted the impressive performance of Vietnamese U15 boxers in the recent tournament, showing they are not to be underestimated. In particular, Luu Thi Ngoc Ha from Vietnam, despite losing in the semi-finals, demonstrated her skills and athleticism, earning her a bronze medal at the 2025 Asian U15 and U17 Boxing Championships.
