Three individuals sustained injuries in separate late-night knife attacks in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Firstly, at around 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, an 18-year-old woman engaged in a heated argument with two men, aged 21, 27, and 28, on the B level of Konstablerwache. The altercation escalated into violence, prompting the 18-year-old to use a knife, inflicting injuries on both 27- and 28-year-old males. The 28-year-old suffered severe wounds, while the 27-year-old sustained only minor injuries. Both victims were quickly transported to the hospital by emergency services. Subsequently, the pair was apprehended by law enforcement officers.
Later in the night, Saturday, two 18-year-olds fell victim to a brutal double-stabbing attack in Alt-Sachsenhausen. The assailants first attacked one of the victims in Rittergasse, leaving them with a serious collarbone injury. The suspects then fled, but returned just 15 minutes later to attack a second 18-year-old victim at Paradiesplatz, robbing him of nitrous oxide cartridges. This victim was also hospitalized but was fortunate enough to be discharged following outpatient treatment.
Although police investigations suspect the two incidents could be linked, there is no concrete evidence supporting this theory yet. The cons stem from a southern European/Oriental-looking individual with a shoulder-length braid (Suspect 1) and a thin man with dark trousers, a black "Gucci cap", and a dark "Wellenstein jacket" with a fur collar (Suspect 2, who allegedly wielded the knife).
The police have classified the incidents as criminal offenses involving bodily harm and attempted manslaughter or murder. They are actively searching for the perpetrators, cordoning off areas surrounding the Konstablerwache to collect evidence for the investigation. The evidence collected so far, which includes traces of blood on the push-automatic doors and a possible struggle scene, may help in identifying and apprehending the assailants.
