Four injured in Kempten head-on collision after driver fails to yield

A traffic collision on Saturday afternoon left four people injured in Kempten. The crash happened at 15:45 on Kotterner Straße when a driver failed to yield. Emergency services attended the scene shortly after the incident.

The accident began as a 29-year-old motorist attempted a left turn onto Kotterner Straße. The driver did not give way to an oncoming car, resulting in a head-on collision. Police reports did not release the at-fault driver’s name.

Both vehicles suffered heavy damage and required towing. The force of the impact left the cars undriveable. Inside, the two drivers and their passengers sustained minor injuries. Authorities later estimated the total cost of the accident at €5,000. This figure covers vehicle repairs, recovery, and other related expenses.

All four individuals involved received treatment for minor injuries. The damaged cars were removed from the road, and police cleared the scene by evening. Investigations into the crash remain ongoing.
