Four elderly individuals, along with the grandchild, allegedly involved in a scheme.

In the upcoming comedy "We Four and the Four Seasons of the Grandparent Scam," airing on the First channel on September 17 at 8:15 PM, four affluent and lively women come together to outsmart a group of gangsters involved in a grandparent scam. The ensemble, which includes Katharina Thalbach ('Extra Class'), Ursula Werner, Soogi Kang, and Uschi Glas ('Club of Lonely Hearts'), works harmoniously despite some contrasts among the characters. Thalbach, a forceful and resolute woman, is a skilled skat player who organizes and wins at tournaments, while Werner, a charming and flirtatious woman, is seen flirting with muscular younger men in the film. Glas plays a refined lady who is straightened up by her new friends, and Kang's character's film husband once fell for a nasty scam. The women quickly become friends and decide to solve the fraud without involving the police, using a sophisticated trap and a pompous hearse to pursue the suspects. The script was written by Kai Kreuser ('Kuntergrau'), and the comedy features lively music, singing, and dance scenes. The film also contains elements of adventure, crime, self-irony, and social and TV criticism. The director of the humorous comedy is Julia Schilling, and Mia Spengler ('Punishment') directed the comedy "We Four and the Four Seasons of the Grandparent Scam." The story unfolds as Irene Glas, a character in the comedy, receives a call about her son causing a fatal accident and needing bail. In an attempt to help, Irene gathers all her available money and jewelry to pay the bail, but an alleged policeman picks up the money and jewelry. After the incident, Irene moves into a senior residence, where she meets three other affluent and lively women: Helene (Thalbach), Christel (Werner), and Annemarie (Kang). Their motto is: "We cheat the cheaters." In a surprising turn of events, the women band together to outsmart the gangsters and bring justice to those who have wronged them. The comedy promises to be a thrilling and entertaining watch, with a message of friendship and unity that resonates with audiences of all ages. Don't miss "We Four and the Four Seasons of the Grandparent Scam" on September 17 at 8:15 PM on the First channel.
