In the picturesque town of Goryachy Klyuch, preparations are underway for upcoming elections scheduled from September 12 to 14. The elections will determine the new governor of Krasnodar Krai and the city council deputies.

The elections' organisers aim to ensure a free and fair voting process. Accordingly, a high-level meeting was held, attended by Zur Sizo, Alexander Salnikov, and Mikhail Lishchishin, respectively the prosecutor, police chief, and acting head of the FSB department.

Sergey Belopolsky, the head of the resort, announced the elections and emphasised the importance of their openness and legitimacy. He also underlined the goal to ensure every voter can freely choose the regional head and deputies. To maintain order and compliance, enhanced security measures will be implemented at all social institutions and vital infrastructure facilities in the city. Police will inspect and guard all voting stations, including two temporary ones set up in the hospital and military unit. A total of 38 voting stations will be established across Goryachy Klyuch.

To cater to those with mobility issues, home voting will be arranged. As of now, the registration for the governor's position in Kuban has been completed.
