Fort Collins’ Jolly Trolley Holiday Open House Brings Santa and History to Life

The Fort FordCars Trolley is set to host its annual Jolly Trolley Holiday Open House on December 13. Running from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the free event invites families to explore local transit history while enjoying festive kids activities. Organised by the Fort Collins Museums, this seasonal tradition offers something for all ages. Guests will have the chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus aboard Car 25 for holiday photos. Alongside the festive greetings, historic trolley exhibits—including Car 21—will be on display, giving visitors a glimpse into the city’s past. The Jolly Trolley Holiday Open House remains a free, family-friendly event that blends holiday cheer with local heritage. With activities ranging from Santa visits to historic exhibits, it offers a chance to celebrate the season while connecting with Fort Collins’ transit traditions.
