Formula One racing team BRIT Racing Sounds the Alarm for their Launch Event of the F1 75 Model Live Stream
London, UK (May 22, 2025) - The 75th anniversary of Formula 1 Racing was celebrated in style with F1 75 Live at London's O2 Arena. The event proved to be a popular one, with tickets selling out within an hour of being released. The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of this year's racing cars from all 10 F1 teams, including Ferrari, Aston Martin, Red Bull, and McLaren.
Clair Global's UK-based Britannia Row was in charge of the event's audio production, bringing together hi-end corporate and musical expertise. Broadcast specialists, Plus 4 Audio, also supported Sky Sports, which televised the event. The evening featured a host of audio sources, including performances by Clair Global clients Take That, Kane Brown, Machine Gun Kelly, and Tems, as well as an introduction by comedian Jack Whitehall.
Tom Brown, Britannia Row Productions account executive, mentioned that the challenge for this project was to adequately cover the room given the extreme weight limitations in the roof, with the set design centering around a 360-degree wall. For this, a sound system was designed, featuring an L-Acoustics rig with K2 main hangs, KARA II enclosures, KS28 subwoofers, and A10 Focus enclosures for front fill. Yamaha Rivage PM Series control surfaces handled spoken word and presenter speeches, while musical portions were mixed on DiGiCo Quantum 338 control surfaces. Wireless RF systems onsite consisted of Shure AD Axient Digital handhelds and Sennheiser 6000/9000 handhelds, with Shure PSM 1000 in-ear monitoring used throughout.
Production manager Chris Vaughan shared that the event was a unique experience for both the production team and the F1 teams. It required the production of a show featuring 10 bespoke car launches and creating a memorable night of entertainment. The event style was similar to the BRIT Awards, which Britannia Row works on annually, with the key difference being that the 'star' of each segment was a car and its drivers.
