Former PBA Player JR Quiñahan Rescues Four in Typhoon Tino

Former PBA player and current MPBL Cebu Greats member, JR Quiñahan, experienced a challenging ordeal when Typhoon Tino struck Cebu. Despite the devastation, Quiñahan and his family bravely rescued several individuals, including a baby, an elderly couple, and another senior citizen.

Quiñahan's family faced severe hardship as the typhoon flooded their home, destroying almost all their belongings. They lost appliances and clothing, but their safety was their top priority. Despite the chaos, Quiñahan and his family demonstrated remarkable courage by saving four lives.

After the typhoon, Quiñahan and his family received support from the Philippine Red Cross and the ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation. These organisations assisted them in improving their situation following the disaster.
