- Kubilay takin' it back with a public apology: Breakin' down the drama!
This wild love ride, filled with twists and turns, made headlines for all the wrong reasons. Georgina Fleur (34), and her ex-boyfriend, entrepreneur Kubilay Özdemir, ain't exactly on speaking terms these days, with Fleur raising their three-year-old kiddo solo in Dubai. On RTL's Allstars Dschungelcamp season (also streaming on RTL+), she gave us an insider look at their turbulent relationship. It seems like Kubi's feelin' remorse and is hopin' to patch things up with their daughter.
"Misplaced in Love"
According to Fleur, the relationship started to crack during their first Christmas together. Sharing her heart-to-hearts with her campmates, she revealed other not-so-sweet moments like Kubi tryin' to hop onboard Das Sommerhaus der Stars (2020) to give folks the impression they were still an item. Things didn't go as planned, and disagreements ensued. Fleur shared her reason for stickin' it out: "I was so deep in love. [...] I was hooked on him."
Their little one was born in 2021. Fleur stated that Kubi's aggressive behavior towards her served as a wake-up call: "I found the courage through my daughter to leave him and rid myself of his existence." Earlier in the camp, she had sad thoughts about tellin' their kiddo about her absent dad: "It saddens me to think about how sad it'll be when I have to explain to her that she doesn't have a father." She also hinted that she was open to arrange something between the old man and their kid: "You can shoot him a message or give him a call, just show some interest in your own flesh and blood."
Sky's the Limit for the Kids
In an interview with RTL, Kubilay Özdemir stressed: "This is the right time to say: I love all my kids, I love my older bunch and also my youngest daughter and son." Talkin' about his daughter with Fleur, he said: "I'm hopin' to connect with the lil one as soon as possible - the sooner, the better."
According to RTL, the entrepreneur has acknowledged and tackled his problems, embracin' sobriety for two years. "I've primarily become a brand-new person, workin' on myself," Özdemir said. "I went through countless therapy sessions and spent a month in a rehab clinic. It wasn't easy, but I dug deep and gave it my all. I did it mainly for my kiddos." Regarding his blow-ups durin' the relationship with Fleur, he said: "I apologize for everything. May I be forgiven." However, he's got no plans to reach out to Fleur. "It's not out of spite. It's for the sake of our kid."
Durin' the same RTL interview, Özdemir mentioned he'd be catchin' up on that Allstars Dschungelcamp episode, sayin', "I'll definitely catch that episode." He also showed interest in watchin' other eps on RTL+, sayin', "I hope to binge-watch some other seasons as well."
