Michele Tafoya Slams Kamala Harris: Inauthentic and Untrustworthy
Former NFL commentator criticizes Kamala Harris as utterly insincere
Michele Tafoya, known for her stint as a sports commentator, has now set her sights on politics, blasting Kamala Harris as "completely inauthentic" and untrustworthy.
The former vice president attended the Met Gala recently, but Tafoya touted Harris' lack of authenticity, specifically sayingit's what people are shunning. During an appearance on OutKick's "Don't @ Me with Dan Dakich," Tafoya pointed out that Harris, despite her attempts to reenter the political arena after her loss to President Donald Trump in the 2024 election, fails to resonate with the public due to her inability to connect on a genuine level.
"The people I talk to are leaning towards figures who are authentic with the American people," Tafoya said. "When I say authentic, mind you, even if what they say is something I can disagree with, at least I know where they stand. Well, who does that describe? I think that describes Donald Trump to a tee."
Tafoya further criticized Harris on her self-serving nature and lack of transparency during the Biden administration. "The more these books are written about everything that went on in the Biden administration, people covering up, the worse she looks," Tafoya asserted. "So, she is not trustworthy in addition to being completely inauthentic."
Among potential contenders for the 2028 presidential election, Harris trails Democratic governors Gavin Newsom and J.B. Pritzker in polling, despite leading in support for the Democratic nomination. Opinions towards her authenticity and trustworthiness vary in political circles, with supporters focusing on her history-making status as a black woman and her strong critiques of Trump, while critics question her ability to navigate the Democratic Party's different factions.
As the 2028 presidential election approaches, Harris' campaign strategy and messaging will be crucial in determining her chances of success. Platforming herself as an authentic and trustworthy leader will be essential in regaining the trust of American voters and building support for her campaign.
