Former Netflix celebrity transitions to selling insurance policies following a stint with the New York Giants football team.
Former NFL Quarterback Jake Fromm Embraces New Career in Insurance
Jake Fromm, the former NFL quarterback who played for teams such as the Buffalo Bills and New York Giants, has retired from professional football and is now working as a client advisor at an insurance brokerage in Atlanta.
Fromm's new role at Sterling Seacrest Pritchard focuses on Commercial Property & Casualty Risk Management. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, which he utilises in his insurance work. This career shift marks a departure from his football career, which spanned five years from 2020 to 2024, with limited game time.
Fromm's NFL career concluded without any significant achievements, but his impact on the game was undeniable. As a true freshman at Georgia in 2017, he led the Bulldogs to a SEC championship, a Rose Bowl victory over Oklahoma, and came within a possession of winning the national championship. His performances that season elevated the Georgia program to a dominant level, setting the stage for their back-to-back titles in 2021 and 2022, which he, unfortunately, did not witness.
In addition to his work in insurance, Fromm has also been involved in media. He has worked as a sports analyst with Atlanta News First, and will now provide pregame and postgame coverage for Georgia football.
The Georgia Bulldogs, currently ranked No.5 in the preseason AP Poll, will undoubtedly benefit from Fromm's insights and experience. As he embarks on this new chapter in his life, Fromm has openly embraced his new career and the opportunities it presents.
