Eintracht Frankfurt has named Babett Peter as its new sporting director. The former Germany international will take up the position on January 1, 2026, with a contract running until summer 2028. Her appointment follows a decorated career both on and off the pitch.

Peter enjoyed a highly successful playing career. She earned 118 caps for Germany, winning Olympic gold in 2016, the World Cup in 2007, and the European Championship in 2009. At club level, she claimed eight German league titles and a Champions League trophy while playing for Turbine Potsdam, 1. FFC Frankfurt, and VfL Wolfsburg.
