Former German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer predicts Donald Trump's downfall

Facebook | Twitter | Whatsapp | Email | Print | Copy Link--- | --- | --- | --- | --- | ---Joschka Fischer, the ex-foreign minister, expresses his concerns over the unpredictable actions of US President Trump. Though he may inflict significant damage in the short term, Fischer asserts that the President will ultimately fail in his mission. The financial negotiations between their party and CDU, CSU, and SPD seem to be progressing more favorably for the Green politician.

From the seasoned outlook of former Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer, US President Donald Trump's reign will lead to destruction, with the magnitude of chaos potentially escalating to war. The notion that a handful of powerful men and nations dictate the world's fate is outdated, Fischer warned, pointing out the existence of nearly 200 countries worldwide.

When asked about Trump's erratic behavior, Fischer casually quipped, "So isser," implying that the President lacked a clear direction. According to Fischer, "One doesn't do him an injustice by saying that he doesn't know yet what he will decide when he gets up in the morning."

Politics

Previously, Fischer served as Federal Foreign Minister and Vice Chancellor under Chancellor Gerhard Schröder from 1998 to 2005. In a past interview on Maischberger, Fischer suggested that Germany and Europe must prepare to face potential celebrations in the Kremlin. He urged Europe to bolster its defenses and engage in talks regarding the expansion of the French nuclear umbrella and other strategic negotiations with Britain. According to Fischer, "Europe is old, rich, weak." Diplomacy alone will not suffice; strong military support is essential when negotiating with Russia. In the Kremlin's eyes, only the U.S. military is taken seriously. Fischer views American military power as essential to NATO's defense commitment, as without the U.S., the alliance is inconsequential.

Regarding the ongoing negotiations over the financial package for defense and infrastructure between CDU, CSU, SPD, and Greens, Fischer emphasized the need for agreement. "All of Europe is now hoping for a breakthrough, for this financial package," he stated. "The way the Union treated the Greens was worse than incompetent, it was idiotic. You can't kick people with your feet and hit them with your fist rhetorically if you want something from them. But it must work, damn it, it's about bloody much."
