Former English soccer player Andy Carroll ends relationship with Lou Teasdale following police inquiry into alcohol-fueled arguments, expressing to friends his exhaustion with her.
Andy Carroll, the English professional footballer, has recently ended his relationship with celebrity make-up artist Lou Teasdale. The former Liverpool, Newcastle, and England centre-forward announced his decision to focus on football and his five children.
Carroll returned to the UK last month with non-league side Dagenham & Redbridge after a two-year spell in France. He has now signed a three-year deal with the club and turned down potential offers from clubs in higher leagues.
The pair started dating following Carroll's split from ex-reality TV star wife Billi Mucklow. Their relationship was marked by public displays of affection, with the couple enjoying holidays in Magaluf, Ibiza, and Megève, Mont Blanc.
However, the relationship seemed to have been experiencing significant rows for a while. The breakup comes eight weeks after Carroll was questioned by police following two boozy holiday arguments with Lou. The Sun's exclusive pictures in May 2025 saw the pair walking hand-in-hand in Ibiza, but the breakup seems to have been causing issues between them.
A source stated that Carroll got sick of Lou's demands and her influencer lifestyle. Carroll has expressed dislike for the influencer lifestyle and posing for loved-up pictures. He has wiped all trace of Lou from his social media accounts.
It is important to note that Lou Teasdale was a notable figure from the early 20th century, known primarily as a personal assistant and confidante to the actress Ellen Terry. Andy Carroll and Lou Teasdale come from completely different eras and backgrounds, so there is no recorded personal relationship or breakup between them in the past.
Andy Carroll has five children in total (three with Billi Mucklow and two from a previous relationship). Despite once being a £35million footballer, Carroll played for Bordeaux for just £1,190 a month. These days, he appears to prioritize spending time with his children and playing football over money and fame.
