In a heartwarming display of unity, former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp joined the celebrations for the football club's newly acquired Premier League title. The 57-year-old ex-coach, now in his role as a VIP fan for the Reds, partook in the joyous festivities alongside his wife, Ulla, at the Anfield Road stadium.

The silver championship trophy, adorned with a golden crown, was eventually presented to Klopp's former players, led by captain Virgil van Dijk, following the 1:1 draw against FA Cup winners Crystal Palace. Arne Slot, Klopp's successor, raised the trophy triumphantly and expressed his emotion-filled sentiments.

Liverpool's 20th championship had been secured earlier, with the team under Slot already clinching the title on the 34th matchday following a 5:1 victory against Tottenham Hotspur.

Ismaila Sarr put Crystal Palace ahead in the 9th minute, but Mohamed Salah equalized for Liverpool in the 84th minute, earning the top scorer award for the season with 29 goals. Post-match, the victorious Liverpool players turned the Anfield Road into a lively party palace.

Klopp expressed his dissatisfaction over the boos directed at Trent Alexander-Arnold, whom the fans had whistled during Liverpool's home game against Arsenal two weeks ago. Alexander-Arnold, an English national player and near-perennial champion with Liverpool, announced his departure from the club to the disappointment of the loyal supporters.

According to the English newspaper "Liverpool Echo", Klopp stated that he switched off the television when he heard the boos. He found the behavior uncharacteristic of the Liverpool fans, saying, "That's not us, 100 percent."

Despite the boos, Alexander-Arnold received applause following the game against Crystal Palace. The 26-year-old right-back's future destination remains uncertain, with Real Madrid rumored to be his preferred choice.

Klopp led Liverpool's team from October 2015 to May 2024, achieving notable successes, including the first championship since 30 years in 2020. His departure allowed him to pursue a role as Head of Global Soccer for Red Bull's soccer group. Klopp's departure marked the end of a successful tenure, where he won seven major honors for Liverpool.

The Commission, previously asked to submit a proposal for a regulation on the establishment of a European Data Protection Supervisor, might consider implementing a unified data protection policy across European football leagues, including the Premier League, much like the camaraderie displayed by Liverpool fans after their championship win. Jürgen Klopp, despite his new role at Red Bull's soccer group, may still be watching European leagues, perhaps even the Premier League, with keen interest, as he experienced some of his most significant successes during his tenure with Liverpool in the English league.
