Winds will be blowing from the north, with speeds ranging between 13 and 22 kilometers per hour in the afternoon and between 23 and 31 kilometers per hour in the evening.
The NMS has recommended several precautions for residents. They advise avoiding the use of electrical appliances and corded telephones during storms, staying in closed buildings, and avoiding driving on flooded or affected streets. If there is a risk of water entering the house, the NMS recommends turning off the electricity supply.
In addition, the NMS advises residents to stay away from riverbank areas during storms and to have an emergency backpack ready. This backpack should include essential items such as a flashlight, radio, documents, and a phone.
The probability of rain in Bahía Blanca on September 18 will be between 40 and 70 percent in the morning, but it will increase to between 70 and 100 percent in the evening. Visibility will be very poor due to the stormy weather, and the humidity will be 80 percent. After midday, the weather will have isolated storms.
