Forecasted NBA Playoffs Picks for Today: Top Wagers and Individual Stat Predictions – 28th April

Time to dive into the NBA Playoffs action! I'll be serving up my top picks and player props throughout these exciting matchups, starting from tonight, April 28th. So tune into the VSiN NBA Playoffs Betting Hub for all the postseason goodness. I'll still be cranking out NBA best bets and player props right here, while occasionally writing about any significant shakeups in the league.

Here's a sneak peek at my plays for today:

NBA Best Bets - April 28th

Game 4: Cleveland Cavaliers vs Miami Heat - 7:30 pm ET

Given that I'm not seeing any standout sides or totals for tonight, I've got some strong leanings on the Heat and the Rockets. I'm not shy about getting creative, so I'm parlaying both teams and maximizing the points while keeping it within a reasonable -110 play range. For the Heat, that comes out to 15.5 points, and for the Rockets, I'm eyeing a 10.5 edge.

Miami HeatYou know that feeling when going up against a team like the Cavaliers can be nerve-wracking? Yeah, been there. Despite the Heat losing Game 3 at home, they're not about to throw in the towel. Tyler Herro put it bluntly after the game – he's not interested in going down without a fight. This Miami team is still a force to be reckoned with defensively, and they've got plenty of room for improvement offensively, especially for heavyweights like Bam Adebayo and Andrew Wiggins. And let's not ignore that Cleveland isn't exactly known for its top-notch perimeter defense. If Herro gets aggressive from long range, he'll easily find his mark, opening up opportunities for the rest of the team.

Game 4: Houston Rockets vs Golden State Warriors - 10:00 pm ET

You ever feel like a team just can't be beaten? I think that applies to the Houston Rockets. Even if Jimmy Butler suits up for Game 4, I doubt the Warriors can deliver a crushing blow to the Rockets, who boast an elite defense. And while there have been plenty of reports about outliers like Gary Payton II's game-winning streak in Game 3, let's not forget that the Rockets were inches away from a win. Factors like Draymond Green's defense, Alperen Sengun's missed baskets, Fred VanVleet's struggles, and Jalen Green's lackluster performance aren't set in stone – they're bound to improve, especially with a series on the line.

PARLAY: Heat Alt +15.5 & Rockets Alt +10.5 (-116)

NBA Player Props - April 28th

Game 4: Houston Rockets vs Golden State Warriors - 10:00 pm ET

Alperen Sengun left some points on the table in Game 3, finishing with just 15 points on an abysmal 35% shooting. But with a fresh start in Game 4, I'm expecting Sengun to bounce back, flirting with 20 points. He showed his offensive prowess in Game 1, scoring 26 points, and he's just too talented to keep playing below average. Look for him to attack the basket more and make more push-shots tonight, even while facing a tenacious Draymond Green.

Prop Bet: Sengun Over 18.5 Points (-114)

Additional Plays

While I'll be keeping an eye out for any last-minute additions to the picks, make sure you come back before games tip off to avoid missing any late-breaking action. It's always possible I'll add something juicy to my card.

Rockets +5.5 (-130 - 1.5 units) vs. Warriors - Game 4

Some other intriguing player prop possibilities include:

  • Darius Garland Over 2.5 threes
  • Davion Mitchell Over 18.5 Points Assisted (PA) or Over 1.5 Made Threes
  • Stephen Curry Under 27.5 Points
  • Stephen Curry 25+ Points
  • Jabari Smith Over 14.5 Points/Rebounds

Happy betting, folks! Keep the excitement level up during these epic playoff battles. Let's root for some high-stakes action and savvy strategies that'll make this playoff season one to remember! 🔥🏀🤑💥

  • On Monday, April 28th, I'll be parlaying the Miami Heat and the Houston Rockets in the NBA Playoffs, with the Heat priced at +15.5 points and the Rockets at +10.5 points.
  • Tonight's matchup between the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers is a testament to the Heat's resilience, with Tyler Herro leading the charge and the team's excellent defensive performance.
  • Despite the Golden State Warriors' victory in Game 3, the Houston Rockets are poised for a comeback, with their elite defense and potential for improved offensive performances by key players.
  • In Game 4 of the Houston Rockets vs Golden State Warriors, I'm betting on Alperen Sengun to score over 18.5 points, recovering from his subpar performance in Game 3.
  • For those looking for additional plays, consider the prop bet on Darius Garland to make over 2.5 three-pointers or the possibility of Davion Mitchell scoring over 18.5 points assisted (PA) or making over 1.5 three-pointers.
