Forecast predicts chilly winds in Central Yakutia

In the heart of Siberia, the Republic of Yakutia is preparing for a change in weather conditions, according to the Yakutian Hydrometeorological Center.

Tatyana Marshalik, the head of the Yakutian Hydrometeorological Center, has provided an update on the upcoming weather. She explained that the new heat will move through Yakutia, starting from Monday. The central part of Yakutia will warm up, with temperatures around 25-27°C.

However, the weather will be mostly dry with comfortable cool temperatures in the next 24 hours. Not much rain is expected in the Republic of Yakutia. Even in Yakutsk, the main city, thunderstorms and rain are expected only by the end of today.

In contrast, the Aldan and Neryungri districts will experience temperatures rising above 30°C in the next 24 hours. The heat will arrive even earlier in the southwest of Yakutia.

Tomorrow, temperatures will drop by 8-10 degrees in central regions of the Republic of Yakutia. The drop is expected to be accompanied by windy conditions, making it a windy day across Yakutia.

The heat wave is expected to affect the entire republic of Yakutia. Starting Saturday, the heat wave will continue to progress across Yakutia. The western part of Yakutia will see the heat wave by Saturday.

Looking further into the future, the weather forecast for late August and early September indicates moderately warm temperatures with some variability. Temperatures will be around 14–20°C during these days. A mix of cloudy and rainy days is expected, with a gradual cooling trend toward early September.

The northern part of Yakutia is expected to experience precipitation above normal in September, with continued above-normal temperatures at least through the first half of September. This includes short-term rain and temperature fluctuations, while the general trend is for warm weather continuing from August into early September.

In summary, Yakutia can expect a mix of mild to cool days with periodic rainfall and a partly warm weather pattern continuing into early autumn. The republic should be prepared for windy conditions in the coming days, with temperatures ranging from 14°C to 20°C by day and cooling to around 6–10°C at night. The northern part of Yakutia will experience more precipitation than usual during this period.
