Ford Unaware of Reservations Regarding Advancement of Ontario Place Park Construction
The Ontario government has signed a 95-year lease with Therme Group, a Swiss mega-spa builder, for the development of a theme park at Ontario Place. The project, valued at $800 million, is scheduled to begin construction in 2025.
However, the decision to proceed with the theme park development has been met with controversy. Critics argue that the lack of public consultation and potential environmental impacts have not been adequately addressed.
