Rugby League Star Reagan Campbell-Gillard Joins London Broncos

After a successful stint with the Parramatta Eels, where he was crowned the club's Player of the Year, Reagan Campbell-Gillard has made a move to the Gold Coast Titans and now, to the London Broncos.

The Australian international, who represented NSW at Origin level and the Kangaroos, signed a three-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans last November. However, his tenure with the Titans seems to have ended, as he was released by Parramatta coach Jason Ryles in November.

Ryles felt the need to go in a different direction with Campbell-Gillard, and the player decided to secure his future by moving on. Alira Campbell-Gillard, his wife, posted a photo of his team travel bag filled with club gear on Facebook, accompanied by the caption, "Any Gold Coast Titans supporters want a travel bag filled with 2025 training gear?"

The Gold Coast Titans are currently undergoing a rebuild under new coach Josh Hannay. Kieran Foran and Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui will not be at the Titans in 2026, and it appears that Campbell-Gillard is the latest player to seek a fresh start at a new club.

The news of Campbell-Gillard's move to the London Broncos became known in January 2023. The Broncos, who were recently promoted to the Super League, have been making waves in the rugby league world, with football legend Darren Lockyer acquiring approximately 90% of the club.

Jason Demetriou has agreed to a three-year deal to coach the London Broncos, regardless of their promotion to the Super League. It is rumoured that Campbell-Gillard will join the Broncos, but his future with the London club remains uncertain due to his early release by two NRL clubs.

Campbell-Gillard made his NRL debut with Penrith in 2015 and played 24 games for the Parramatta Eels. He understands the decision to release him by Parramatta, as it's a business in rugby league. Alira Campbell-Gillard reacted to her husband being moved on by the Gold Coast Titans, but the details of her reaction were not disclosed.

Meanwhile, David Fifita and Alofiana Khan-Pereira are reportedly seeking fresh starts at new clubs as well. The London Broncos are poised to make some significant changes to their roster, with the addition of Campbell-Gillard potentially being one of the most exciting developments in the rugby league world.
