My daughter, an avid sports enthusiast, had little interest in NFL games before T^2's romance. But now, she's all about it! Games nights have become our thing, and I've even heard that we're not the only family experiencing this newfound enthusiasm.
So to all the naysayers and skeptics out there, keep your opinions to yourself. Remember what my daughter learned in kindergarten last year, "don't knock someone else's joys." This love story transcends more than the NFL boundaries; it symbolizes the exciting rekindling of people's interest in sports.
Now, let's get back to business, as I know that's what you Branded readers love most. The presence of Taylor Swift at Super Bowl LVIII is speculated to drive a surging demographic to tune in for the Big Game! The so-called T^2 factor is expected to impact an astounding 21% of Americans polled by Seton Hall Sports, meaning Taylor's influence on people's viewing choices could be significant[2].
With Taylor's following of 280 million on Instagram, 95.1 million on Twitter, 23.9 million on TikTok, and 80 million on Facebook, to name a few, don't be surprised if you see a significant spike in food and beverage orders for this year's game.
According to the National Retail Federation, spending on food, decorations, and apparel is estimated to reach a whopping $17.3 billion this year, breaking all previous records[3]. Can you say mouthwatering?
