"I ain't shy to admit it, I'm currently enjoying the hell out of football, a feeling I've been missing for a good long time, y'hear? It's 100% real," the 36-year-old Dzyuba declared to Match TV.
Last week, Dzyuba's goal against Dynamo Makhachkala sealed a 1:0 victory for Akron in the 27th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This marks his fourth consecutive match with a goal. "Nowadays, my goal isn't to score a specific number of goals. My objective is to win, and if my goals contribute to that, I'm just thrilled," the sportsman added.
Dzyuba is now the record-holder for goals among Russian footballers with 240 career goals. In March, the forward also established himself as the all-time leading scorer for the Russian national team.
