"Downton Abbey: Grand Finale" has had a strong start, grossing $25.3 million in its first week. However, it experienced a 16% decrease in Thursday night football previews compared to its opening night, earning $1.38 million.

Meanwhile, the football horror movie "Him," produced by Jordan Peele, made an impressive $2 million from first watch previews that began at 2 p.m. on Thursday. The film, starring Marlon Wayans, Julia Fox, and Tyriq Withers, is expected to open in the mid-teen millions this weekend.
