Wasgau C+C Celebrates Saarland Football Clubs at Annual Awards Ceremony
The Saarland Football Association (SFV) in Saarbrücken recently played host to the annual Wasgau C+C competition, an initiative designed to celebrate and reward the participation and commitment of local football clubs.
During the ceremony, Frank Kiefer, representing Wasgau C+C, praised the Saarland football clubs, expressing gratitude for their week-in, week-out commitment on and off the pitch. Kiefer emphasized that Wasgau C+C wanted to thank the clubs for their unwavering support of grassroots football in the region.
Heribert Ohlmann, the SFV President, was pleased with the initiative and commended Wasgau C+C for their ongoing support of local football activities. Ohlmann stated that such actions serve as a testament to the value placed on the clubs in the region.
The awards ceremony, held as part of the Wasgau C+C competition, saw three Saarland football clubs honoured for their exceptional commitment. SV Bardenbach took the top spot, receiving a shopping voucher worth 500 € for their efforts. SV Bildstock followed closely behind, earning a 150 € voucher for their 3rd place finish, while DJK Münchwies was awarded a 250 € voucher for securing 2nd place.
