The youth tournament, held in Neustrelitz, saw Tim Borowski shine as a young boy. However, the tournament was won by TSG Wismar with a score of 0:1 in the final.
Post-unification, Borowski continued to contribute to football, training the Post youth and briefly the men's team. His work with the youth teams continued to bear fruit, as they made their mark in local football.
