Football club Everton secures a temporary transfer for Manchester City's Grealish for the upcoming season according to Sky Sports report.

Football club Everton has reportedly reached an agreement for a one-season loan of Manchester City's player Jack Grealish, according to Sky Sports' report.

Jack Grealish, the England international midfielder, has joined Everton on a season-long loan from Manchester City, according to Sky Sports. The deal, which includes an option for Everton to purchase the player for £50 million, was finalised in mid-August 2025.

The loan move comes as Grealish has fallen out of favour at Manchester City, where he has two years remaining on his contract. With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, Grealish is in urgent need of regular game time to secure his place in the England squad.

Everton manager David Moyes has expressed strong enthusiasm for the signing, viewing it as a key boost to their attacking options. Grealish is anticipated to be a regular starter for the Toffees, showcasing his creativity and experience, which Everton fans are eager to see.

The loan deal was not yet imminent, as reported by the BBC, but talks were progressing. Grealish joined Manchester City from Aston Villa for 100 million pounds ($134.57 million) in 2021. However, last season, he made only seven league starts for the Citizens.

Despite this, Grealish was not included in Manchester City's recent Club World Cup squad. This loan move is viewed as an opportunity for Grealish to rekindle his Premier League career at Everton while also boosting Everton’s attacking strength.

The loan duration for Grealish is the entire 2025/26 season. If Everton chooses to exercise the option to buy, they will do so for £50 million. This move is a significant development in the English Premier League, with both clubs and fans eagerly awaiting to see how Grealish performs for his new team.
