Football camp for kids successfully implemented by JFV Obertshausen
Annual Football Camp 2025 by the Youth Support Association (JFV) Obertshausen
The Youth Support Association (JFV) Obertshausen successfully hosted its annual football camp from July 21 to 25, 2025, on the grounds of Kickers Obertshausen. Around 40 children aged 6 to 13 participated in the camp, making it a lively and energetic event.
The camp was led by a five-member coaching team from the Kids Soccer Academy. The coaching team was supported by youth leader Drago Horvat and C2 youth coach Christian Stark. The training focused on promoting technical and tactical areas in football, ensuring the young athletes received comprehensive instruction.
In addition to sporting activities, the children's physical well-being was taken care of. Provisions included water, fruit, and vegetable breaks, as well as a daily hot lunch to ensure the young athletes were balanced throughout the day.
The JFV expresses gratitude to the volunteer helpers and supporting parents for their commitment, as the camp would not have been possible in its current form without them. The Youth Support Association (JFV) also thanks its sponsors for their generous contributions. These include local businesses such as REWE Obertshausen, Arta Jaeger, the orthodontic practice Anette Lemmerich, the inn and wine bar Zum Nachtwächter Markus Schmid, and Café Kaffee K im Kapellenhof.
